Three class formats: Classroom, Blended, Skills Practice

CLASSROOM: Come ready to sit in a traditional classroom format. Get all your study materals when you come in for class and start working. Learn and do you skills practice all in one day.

Time to Complete: 4 Hours 15 Minutes

Requirements: Must be able to give breaths and compressions.

BLENDED: Get access to the online learning system at checkout and watch the online learning program then come to a bleeded session to do your skills practice.

Time to Complete: 2 Hours 30 Minutes

Requirements: Bring your ready reference book. Must be able to give breaths and compressions. Must have a valid paper or electronic copy of your blended learning completion certificate. This has the required information to process your final certification and cannot be processed without it.

SKILLS PRACTICE: For those that have done the online learning and would like to do the skills practice for certification (within the allowed time frame explained upon completion of the online only class).

Time to Complete: 2 Hours 30 Minutes

We do not cross certify i.e. we can’t accept an online course from AHA and do a ARC skills practice for certification.

2. Signing up for Yourself or a Group?

Individual

Information: Classes and skill practices occur at the studio. Individual sign up for the course and then meet on the date for the class and work as a group. You must make sure you meet the requirements of the class format type before booking into the class.

Payments: Valid credit card number is required to hold your spot. Upon completion of the course your credit card will be charged. You will not receive your completion certificate until the full payment is made.

Cancelations: You can book or cancel your attendance in the course within two hours and one minute without penalty. If you did not show up or you show up more than five minutes late to the class after it has begun you'll be charged 50% charged to the credit card on file and will not get credit for the course.

Attendance: Your full attendance is required in order to get credit for the course.

Group

Information: Classes and skill practices occur at the location stated on the form at checkout. You must make sure that each person who attends the training meets the requirements of the class format by the day the class is supposed to take place. The final bill will reflect the number of attendees who attend the course and there is a charge for those individuals who attend to attend the course of late or do not meet the requirements set out above before the class begins because the equipment is being provided for that person and is not being utilized.

Payments: Valid credit card number is required to pay the deposit. Upon completion of the course your credit card will be charged. No one will not receive your completion certificate until the full payment is made. The charge is a $100 deposit due upon booking. Then depending on which course your charge per participant listed in the form. A 50% charge for each person on the list that does not attend, comes in more the 5 minutes late, or does not meet the requirments of the class at the time the class begins.

Attendance: Your full attendance is required in order to get credit for the course.

Make Sure Your Group Meets the Requirements of the class

  • An EVEN total number of people is required for a group to take a class. No less than 4 people per training session.

  • Make sure you have the full name and an e-mail address for each person attending the training so the registration information can be sent in a timely fashion and the cards can be sent out after the class is done.

  • Class locations must be within the outer circle of the map.

TRAINING CLASSROOM REQUIREMENTS

Table and chairs for each student and one set for the instructor with access to at least one, three prong electrical plug with open floor space of 36” X 36” or 3’ x 3’ per training station.

3. Require Certification?

Some individuals need certifications as part of their employment. Health care workers typically require the AHA certification NOT the ARC certification please make sure that you know which one you need. ALL CLASSES MEET CERTIFICATION STANDARDS. Please make sure you have a full name along with an email address to send the certification information before you come to class you'll be asked when you pick a date and pay this includes group certifications as well.
