And how much of a priority are these things to you?
Your comfort and privacy are my first priority. I never push people to come see me; it's not my decision for you to be here, it's yours. When you get to the point where you're ready to take something off your bucket list, but can't because of pain, stiffness, headaches, or low energy, you're ready to get some work done.

All of my formal training has been geared toward performance and rehabilitation of my clients and I can do it with my performance and rehab protocols used in my room everyday.

What is a Session Like?
In general, every session starts with a clean, organized waiting area. I encourage you to arrive a little early to your session so that you can start the unwinding process. Use this time to make your last phone calls, send your last text messages, and check your email.
Because many people leave so relaxed and ready to enjoy the world again, I often take payment before the session begins. You may also take this time to make your next session. Booking in advance ensures you get the day, time, and duration of session you want.
If you're new to me and my bodywork, I will take a few moments to simply chat with you in order to find out what state of mind you are in and what your comfort and expectations are for your sessions. I have a very simple intake form to help me understand any health conditions you may have or comforts you may want. Please take the time to ask any questions you may have about your session or any specific areas of focus that you would like. I will always give you a brief summary of what we've talked about so that we're both clear on what we're doing during the session. I will always tell you whether to start in the face-up or face-down position on the table, and everyone always starts underneath the sheet. I always tell people to undress to your comfort level; in many cases people will nude under the sheet, or, if preferred, they keep their underwear on (bras removed).
If you brought music, I always start it before I leave the room to let you undress. I will always knock before I return into the room to make sure that you are ready. Once the session begins if you need anything please let me know. If I ask questions during your session, it is so that my work will be more effective, and it will be a short interruption.
I also provide hot towels to clean off extra cream your skin has not yet absorbed. At the end of your session, I will let you know that I'm leaving to let you re-dress alone. If it is after dark, I will usually turn on a small lamp to provide you enough light to get up but not too much as to hurt your eyes. When you're ready, just open the door and I will be there ready to receive you.
