Fall 2023 Newsletter
It's that time of the year again the newsletter. This one's gonna be coming to you a little early this year because there's gonna be so much going on towards the end of the year into new year 2024. Thank you for being so patient while I was away having surgery. For those of you that are not aware in early July I was hospitalized for an emergency gallbladder removal that did not go quite as planned I ended up being out of work for about a month and I'm still recovering.
Next year will mark 10 years I've been in the Minnehaha location and as a result I have planned a year of giveaways and prizes to all my clients. Here are some of the interesting details: I purchased fortune cookies which you are welcome to take with you or open well you are still in the office with me and we're gonna place some in a small :-) bowl and I will be posting them on social media throughout the year. I will also have some ceramic fortune cookies that I will hand out to people at random they'll be a fortune that you pull out that will have gift cards and gift bags as possible prizes. It's to say thank you for coming to see me these last 10 years.
American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED/ First Aid classes are coming soon to TSB. Over the last few years I've been looking for ways to expand my consulting business and work with people I don't normally work with as a result I've spent about $5000 on becoming a certified instructor. You're going to see some changes to the website as well as to the booking software so that I can start teaching classes. This may coincide with me eventually moving into multiple rooms or moving into larger rooms within the same building if that does happen I'll be letting everyone know. If you were interested in better understanding how these classes will work please let know at your next visit.
Lastly, I will be making price adjustments in 2024 as I do every three years. Sessions that are 2 hours will go up to $180. As many of you who are massage aficionados know my 2 hour rate is below market rate for this area. But with the increase in prices and two new taxes starting in October 2023 the margins on 2 hour sessions are too low for me to be comfortable any longer. You'll see these changes start January 1, 2024. Every session is an all inclusive price which means that the cost of your session, taxes, gratuities, and credit card fees.
