Fall 2021 Newsletter From Tony Schwartz Bodywork
To all of my clients I want to express my hopes that this newsletter finds you all well. It has been another interesting year so far and I don't think it's over yet. Many of the challenges of 2021 are different than those in 2020. From returning to a workplace, changing jobs or industries, for others it's the reality of sending your children to school. Many of us are also saying goodbye to sick love ones. Many of you will see there are many changes sense the last newsletter please know these changes I hope will ensure my longevity as well as provide new opportunities for every client.
Rate Changes
For those of you who haven't been in sometime or have not been looking at the website or social media reluctantly in August I did need to change my rates. I evaluate rates every three years and what I did not know if that during the pandemic many of my competitors chose to raise their rates when I chose to keep them low. And then earlier in the year I was aware that some companies were raising rates once again but made the decision not to unless it became necessary based on my expenses to operate business. Rates have changed significantly and rent has been adjusted to reflect current conditions so rates did change on August 1. Rates will change again at the end of 2021 however as a result as well I can now offer things I could not prior. The reason for separating them rate changes into two parts is to give people time to absorb the new rates into their budgets.
Discounts for Vets, Monthly, Referrals
With the rate adjustments I will be able to continue discounted services for military service members of $10 per session. I've also made the decision to offer a $5 monthly discount to clients who come in every 30 days. As a thank you for the many referrals I have received the last few years I want to take a moment to let everyone know I will be adding statement credits for everyone who has referred a client. If I leave anyone out when you come in please remind me.
CBD Now Offered During Sessions
After working with my CBD supplier and with an attorney I have been able now to offer CBD during your session for a small additional charge. The margins on CBD is pretty tight so there will be a need to have an additional small charge however the measured 1 ounce amount that you'll get for the money it's going to go a very long way. I hope that everyone will consider giving it a try.
Final Notice on Hands For Heroes
With the rate change notice put up in June on the website I also indicated that Hand for Heroes no cost sessions were ending for currently clients at the end of 2021. If you are Hands For Heroes member please use your hours before the end of the year! I would much rather they be used then go to waste and after 2020 and so few clients taking their free hours to help me financially I encourage you now please allow me the opportunity to show you my appreciation for your generosity in 2020.
Covid 19
Some clients have expressed some concerns over the changing COVID-19 directives from federal and state officials. I can only tell you that I will be staying consistent with my policy regarding COVID-19 protocols and that is I will continue to follow whatever requirements business owners must abide by whether it's from federal, state, or city officials. There is still an option when booking your session online to request mutual mask wearing and I will continue to be happy to do so upon request. Enhanced cleaning protocols have been re-introduced.
Coming In 2022
PEFORM SESSIONS
After much consideration I have chosen to integrate Perform sessions into my new price structure that will be introduced in 2022 this is now conforming to my long-standing one price for everything approach to services and techniques. This will provide every client with significant savings should I want to try a Perform program. So if you are an athlete or a weekend warrior Perform is designed for you and I will encourage you if you have questions to let me know if the program would be right for you.
Let Me Know Surveys
It's that time again surveys! Please go to the website and look at the top banner and you'll find a link to the newest let me know survey. These surveys don't get much participation but please know everyone's participation is taken very seriously. Many changes that have benefited everyone have come out of the service. Please take just a few minutes. If you would like to take the survey when you come I will provide a QR code that will allow you to be able to take the survey on your phone.
Time Away
And some of you may be aware I am planning to go on a much-needed long vacation. As long as travel to certain countries is still permitted in the fall of 2022 I will be planning to be out of the United States for approximately 3 to 3 1/2 weeks. More information will be made available later but I'm going to plant the seed now once I announce I will be going on vacation please book your sessions in advance before I leave and then as soon as I return. I would much rather have everyone happy and getting the sessions when they need them instead of being frustrated either before I leave that I won't be able to match their schedule for coming in or they're upset that when I come back I'm full for several weeks so please book an advance and cancel if you need to and the automated scheduling software do the rest for us.
